Bank Holiday Kiwi Style

Friday 19th April marks the beginning of the Easter period and is celebrated by many nations around the World.  Festivities differ from country to country and National Geographic’s 2018 photographic article documented some of the world’s more fascinating celebrations – see here.

Easter marks a time of Christian commemoration for some but is also a time when traditionally, many Kiwis use the break to catch up on DIY and gardening jobs. Many of us will take the time to enjoy the last days of the summer warmth with an end of season trip or a day out at one of our incredible NZ beaches and walks. We have added links to a couple of our favourite places for a day trip just outside of Auckland. Tawharanui has the most glorious coast line and surf and Atiu Creek is a must for walkers with incredible views of the Kaipara Harbour.

Not only is it a great time for relaxation and fun, Easter Bank Holiday is also a good time to finish those last few gardening jobs before Autumn and Winter set in. Need to aerate your compost? Protect your seedlings? Nourish your soil? We have a range of products that are perfect for this time of year. Our Gardening range at NiceBuys will help you manage many of your gardening projects right now.

If getting things done around the home is more your focus these holidays, then let us help you out with picture hanging, cleaning, organising or just general relaxation and pampering. See some of the many new products now featured at the NiceBuys online store.

Whatever you decide to do these holidays, we wish you a Happy Easter!
