A YEARLY INSPECTION OF YOUR CHIMNEY/FLUE BY A PROFESSIONAL IS RECOMMENDED.

Note: If you haven’t cleaned your chimney in a while and you suspect you may have a large build-up, please use 2 or 3 sachets for the first clean, then 1 sachet per month throughout the season to keep it clean.

How to Use

1. Make a hot fire and allow it to die down to hot coals.
2. Adjust unit, if possible, so airflow is travelling up the flue slowly.
3. Place sealed sachet of Soot-Loose® on the hot coals and close door if applicable.
4. After approx. 15-20 minutes, the process is complete.
5. Remove any loose soot from above the baffle plate before restarting the fire.
6. CAUTION – In the case of an open fireplace: place a guard in front of the fireplace to protect any persons, floor coverings or furniture.
7. If the chimney/flue is heavily sooted, use two sachets in a single application.
8. While heating unit is in constant use, apply Soot-Loose® monthly.
