Boasting an impressive height of 1.82 meters (for the Medium) and 2m (for the Large), allows you to walk into your Crop Protection Cage to tend and harvest your crops or to prune your plants conveniently. The 2 access doors with zippers on both sides, gives ease of use and flexibility.

The bottom of the crop cage has a unique extended cloth flap that can be pegged in place or buried in the ground to prevent tiny animals or pests from entering the cage and destroying your plants.

Made with 120gsm polyester mesh, with 4mm holes, it offers strong protection from most of your usual garden predators without impacting the growth of your harvest. With the height of 1.82m - 2m, the Crop Protection Cage is ideal to protect newly planted trees or hedging whilst they are getting established in your garden.

Produced with steel tube frame, plastic connectors and anchoring pegs, it means a strong stable structure. But one that can still easily be moved around the garden and or taken down and stored at the end of the season if required.

Crop Protection Cage

The cage was very easy to erect. This is an advantage of it being on the light side. The alternative aspect is that it is probably very vulnerable in windy conditions. This could be overcome by the manufacturer supplying more metal pegs and the new owner using a few strategically placed bricks. My tomatoes are thriving in the new cage so very happy.

These are very good easy to assemble and have stood up to a few good winds already
Would like a smaller one then your medium have family I would like them for who live on small sections

Super happy with the product, exactly as stated and very speedy service and delivery. Highly recommend. I’m 1.83m tall and being able to walk into this crop cover without having to bend over is fabulous. Does the job keeping our numerous feathered friends off our vege crops too. Love it! We did get some extra pegs to further secure the cover as we get high winds here on the coast.

Love it! These have been hugely popular since we started selling the Crop Protection Cages (2 sizes available). Certainly handy being able to simply walk in.

Great for summer

Great for summer but sadly doesn't hold up to spring winds even when sheltered.
Plastic corners bent and broke under the wind

Hello Skye. Thanks for your honest feedback. These are definitely better in a sheltered area due to their height. We have spares of the connectors so please get in touch and we will sort what you need - of course at no cost and no shipping.

Two uses so far

We used this as a chook area initially , until we built a proper cage, then popped it over the tomatoes just in time for the first frost. Love it, working well.
